What a pleasant weekend has this been... My tooth is being a real pain in the ass. I got the antibiotics on Tuesday. Well, it started to hurt like hell on Friday also. I called the doctor and she said I don´t have to come there if I can handle the pain with the painkillers. Okay... I did at first. But the night was terrible and yesterday morning when I woke up my left cheek was swollen and it hurt so bad. I went to the doctor´s but he wasn´t a dentist so there wasn´t much he could do. He said the antibiotics are obviously not working for me. But he didn´t want to change them?!?
So, he told me to take strong painkillers. They are making me so sleepy... But thank god, they help. I have to call my dentist first thing tomorrow... *sighs* I count the seconds.
I don´t know if it´s the meds or hormones but I have to pee all the time. My pee is clean, they checked it yesterday. I don´t have to pee or drink, and I don´t sweat at night. If I did, then they probably would suspect diabetes. I don´t know. Maybe I´m just nervous.

Oh, I don't mean this in a bad way, don't get me wrong...
... But I was at work last Friday and a colleague of mine had this incredible toothache! Her cheek was swollen, she was sedated by painkillers which didn't seem to help at all except for making her sleepy!
She is also going to go to the dentist on Monday, but with her it's already obvious that she needs a double rooth canal threatment as two of her teeth are infected! Yikes!
I sure hope your situation isn't "that" bad! Good luck, monday!

Iona: That´s what they have been TRYING to do to my tooth also. Root canal treatment. I have been there EIGHT times already and I tell ya, that is way too often. The doc that I saw yesterday, he asked me if I have a bad taste in my mouth. I do and I have told that to my dentist weeks ago. It usually means there´s some kind of a bacteria infection. She didn´t react. Hmm. Something´s not right about this...
I took some heavy painkillers a few hours ago. We watched a movie called Abyss. It´s 2.30am and I´m feeling kind of tipsy. I think it´s time to get some sleep. I have to be up at 8am. Yay!
